Are there side effects?

Homeopathy is a very user friendly treatment system and has no harmful side effects. This fact is a strong point of homeopathy. However, self – medicating, inappropriate use or repetition of doses without the advice of a professional homeopath is not recommended. Always consult with an experienced Homeopath. Keep in mind medicine is still medicine and must be treated as such.

Can it cause interactions with other medication?

One of the advantages of homeopathy is it not only doesn´t interact with any medication but we can use it to increase the effectiveness or to stop unwanted side effects.

How long will the treatment take?

The duration of your treatment depends on many factors such as your specific illness, how long
you´ve had it, previous response to other treatments and current health. For some, results are immediate and for others it may take more time after starting treatment, depending on how acute or chronic the health issue is.

What precautions should be taken during homeopathic treatment?

Homeopathic medicines are quite effective but there are some precautions that should be taken for better results. It is Important that any dietary changes recommended by a homeopath be followed during the treatment otherwise the medicines might not give the desired results. Such precautions would be different in every case depending upon the ailment and the medicines being used. If necessary your homeopath will give you a diet plan and tell you what you need to take and what to avoid. Ideally you should not use any medicine without regular medical advice but in case you decide to take some medicine not recommended by your homeopath, don’t forget your diet may affect the results.

Generally, any thing that contains Caffeine, Coca (e.g. Coca-Cola), Menthol, Camphor, Peppermint, excessive Salt etc. should be avoided because these may  counteract the effects of some homeopathic medicines. Coffee is one item that needs to be avoided in most of the cases.
